Devil’s Bowl Speedway Hosting Open Forum Informational Meeting November 6

Asphalt and Dirt Track racers invited to take part in discussion in Rutland, VT

RUTLAND, VT – Devil’s Bowl Speedway wants to hear from the region’s grassroots stock car racers. Management from the Vermont facility will host and moderate an open-discussion informational meeting at the Holiday Inn Rutland/Killington in Rutland, VT on Friday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. Participants in all divisions of racing on both asphalt and dirt are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway will host its landmark 50th season of stock car racing in 2016 and is seeking input from all participants. The track will again host racing on its 1/2-mile asphalt oval and is planning for an expanded schedule on its 3/10-mile clay infield oval. While many plans for the coming year are already in motion, owner/promoter Mike Bruno is seeking feedback and suggestions from all racers.

“We are excited about our 50th season and are working hard to make Devil’s Bowl Speedway stronger than ever,” Bruno said. “It is important to us that our racers voice their opinions and concerns. We want them to part of our decision-making process, and that’s a philosophy that we have embraced for years.”

Among its many topics, the moderated open forum meeting will discuss plans for all classes of racing on asphalt and dirt, season schedules, event formats, promotions, and other matters. Space is limited and teams planning to attend are respectfully being asked to limit their groups to three people. Snack foods will be provided at the meeting.

The Holiday Inn Rutland/Killington is located at 476 Holiday Drive in Rutland, VT, near the intersection of U.S. Route 4 and U.S. Route 7. For more information, visit www.hivermont.com or call (802) 775-1911.
