Rain Postpones Devil’s Bowl Speedway Heritage Family Credit Union Night

Dirt Track event still on for Sunday, August 14

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Morning rain and a wet forecast into the evening have forced Devil’s Bowl Speedway officials to postpone the annual Heritage Family Credit Union “Member Night” event on Saturday, August 13 at the facility’s half-mile Asphalt Track. The event was scheduled to be a full program of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series stock car racing, highlighted by twin 25-lap races for the Sportsman Modified division.

The event also featured free admission for all Heritage Family Credit Union members who present proof of valid membership. Devil’s Bowl Speedway and Heritage Family Credit Union will work together to determine a possible makeup date, with an announcement in the near future.

Saturday’s rain, at this point, does not affect the Liberty Street Discount Beverage & Deli Night event scheduled for Sunday, August 14 on the 3/10-mile Dirt Track at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. The Sprint Cars of New England series will be on hand at 6:00 p.m. along with the Sportsman Modified, Renegade, and Mini Stock divisions of the weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.

Special general admission for Sunday, August 14 is $15 for adults, $13 for seniors (62+), $5 for teens (13-17), and free for kids 12 and under. Gates open at 4:00 p.m., with racing at 6:00 p.m.
