Keith Harrington is the new head announcer for the 2025 season at Devil's Bowl Speedway

Keith Harrington has been attending Devil's Bowl Speedway as a fan since he was old enough to remember. Keith has worked in sports media for nearly 40 years beginning in the mid-80s as a play-by-play announcer for Lakes Region Radio where he also hosted a local racing talk show. He was also Director of Communications and Media for the Glens Falls Dragons minor league baseball team and the play-by-play voice of the Bennington Martens ABA Basketball team. He is also one of the voices of Williams College athletics for the Northeast Sports Network where he calls men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s hockey, softball, and baseball.

Keith has called hundreds of high school sporting events, including several Vermont State Championship games. Keith has also been the play-by-play voice for several NCAA Division III NCAA Tournament soccer, basketball, and hockey games, along with many NESCAC and NAC playoff games and Final Fours. One of the highlights of his sports broadcasting career was calling the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl game. Keith is also the lead sportswriter for NYVT Media which includes the Granville Sentinel, Whitehall Times, Free Press, Lakes Region Free Press, and Border Country Sports. He is retiring in June after 32 years in education to pursue his love of sports announcing and writing full-time. Keith is excited to connect with the racing community as he transitions into his new roll. He will be the head announcer at Devil's Bowl Speedway and will also do some work at Airborne Park Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY for the 2025 season.
