Devil’s Bowl Releases Point Fund, Gate Fees and Season Pass Info Ahead of New Year

WEST HAVEN, V.T. - Devil’s Bowl Speedway has announced its baseline point fund for the 2024 season. Just a few days after the 2023 Banquet of Champions where over $30,000 was paid out to drivers, New England’s fastest dirt track announced on Facebook that it will once again break the bank for its loyal drivers at the end of this upcoming season.

The headline Sunoco Sportsman Modified division will pay $5,000 to its champion again in 2024. If that driver also wins the Airborne Park’s $2,000 Sportsman title, Elmo’s Speed and Supply will add a $3,000 bonus to the pot, giving one driver $10,000 for the impressive feat. Fifth place will pay $800, with 10th earning $300 and 11th-15th place drivers earning $250. In total, the Sunoco Sportsman Modifieds will race for a minimum of $14,550 in point money alone in 2024.

The O’Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman high-point driver will earn a whopping $2,000 for their efforts in 2024. The top 15 in points will split a minimum purse of $5,300.

The Novice Sportsman Champ will collect $500 at the annual banquet, with more than $2,500 to split up between the top 15 in points.

The Mini Stock Champion will also collect $500, and the ever-growing class will compete for at least $2,275 in point fund money in 2024.

The Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints will race for a $300 Championship and pay the top 10 drivers a total of $1,175.

The grand total of all the set point funds is $25,875 already. That number will grow throughout the year as the point fund is boosted in various ways.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway Owner and Operator Mike Bruno has also stated that there will be no increases in gate fees for 2024. Members will pay $28 for a pit pass while the non-member price will remain at $38. Pit area season passes will be offered at $500 for members. General Admission is still set at $15, with kids under the age of 12 being admitted free with a paid adult. Season grandstand passes remain at $300. Reserved seats are available for $50 good for the entire season.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway is located on Route 22A in West Haven, Vt., five miles north of U.S. Route 4, Exit 2, and just 20 minutes from Rutland, Vt.  For more information, visit www.DevilsBowlSpeedwayVT.com or call (802) 265-3112.
