Father’s Day Tradition: Short Track Super Series Modifieds at Devil’s Bowl June 15
WEST HAVEN, VT – Building a Father’s Day tradition.
For the fourth time, the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco makes its annual pilgrimage to Vermont for the ‘Slate Valley 67’ featuring the HYTORC of New York North Region on Father’s Day: Sunday, June 15.
After weather issues plagued Airborne Park Speedway (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) in late May, Devil’s Bowl now serves as the 2025 North Region opener for the STSS Modified contingent.
STSS Modifieds race 67 laps around the Green Mountain State venue with $7,567 going to the winner, $1,000 for 10th and $500 to take the green flag. This marks the first 67-lap distance in the event’s history.
Joining the STSS Modifieds on the program are: “Topless” Sportsman Modifieds (30 laps, $1,500 to win), “Topless” Limited Sportsman and Mini-Stocks under Devil’s Bowl Speedway rules.

The STSS Modifieds have visited Mike Bruno’s Devil’s Bowl venue on three occasions dating back to 2022.
A year ago, Marc Johnson bested the all-star field for his second career STSS Modified victory over Matt Sheppard, Mat Williamson, Jack Lehner and Stewart Friesen.
Prior victors included Stewart Friesen (2023) and Matt Sheppard (2022).
